Fireworks

All the summer weeks I've spent in Japan, and never once caught a proper fireworks display. Until now! A group of us stayed after work and went up to the rooftop to catch the 1.5 hour display at nearby Ohorikouen Park.

There were snacks, beer or chuhai and good company. A bunch of the fireworks were blocked by one particular building, and my camera wasn't really up to the task, but I salvaged a few pictures.

Tomorrow will be OLDCODEX at the Zepp with Shaina, and Sunday will be hanging out at the little matsuri across the street with coworkers. And then next week will be settling into new office on the fourth floor, and hopefully getting my visa for China.
