This
is a new place in my neighborhood run by a young husband and wife combo
(or
so it seems). They're quite friendly and speak English, Spanish and
Japanese. The restaurant is tiny, featuring two tall tables that can
seat 2 each, and a counter that might also seat too. Take out is
available, though.
The food is made fresh, on the spot, not sitting around waiting to be slapped onto a dish. While the menu has just a few options, there's quite a variety in toppings (mentaiko mayo -- will have to try another time). I had the nachos, which came with a side of good pico de gallo and excellent corn chips. Good corn chips are so hard to come by here, so I am always happy to find them.
Don't go to Tacomia when you're in a hurry, but if you want decent Mexican, definitely go!
No pics of the food, alas, since I left my phone at home that day.
